Evening street scene in Abu Tor, Jerusalem
Dear Readers in Israel,
I've settled into my routine for my stay in Jerusalem, going to Ulpan in the morning to fry my grey cells a bit as I try to expand my Hebrew vocabulary, writing and doing homework in my hotel room while it's too hot outside in the afternoon, and going out in the evenings to meet people and explore. It's a good life!
I wanted to let you know that I'm also doing a bunch of events while I am here, and it would be great to see you at any of these. If you do come, please introduce yourself as one of my subscribers. I love meeting people who "know" me! Here's what I have scheduled:
July 6 - Workshop: Shaping Family History into Compelling Stories, WriteSpace Jerusalem, 9:30 - 3:15
July 6 - Book Club Meeting, Mindspace Tel Aviv, 6th floor, 7:00 pm
July 9 - Author
Talk at AACI Netanya, 28 Shmuel Hanaziv Street, Netanya, 7:30 pm
July 13 -
Workshop: Writing the Multi Multi Cultural Memoir, WritePad Tel Aviv, 9:30 - 3:30
I also have hard copies of my book for sale with me; if you'd like one, I'm happy to meet up ($15 or NIS50, cash or credit). I know English books are hard to get
here if they're not mass market.
I'd be happy to connect in any which way while I'm here!
Greetings,
